Benefits of IP Cameras
IP (Internet Protocol) cameras are powered over ethernet (PoE) and offer a far superior camera image quality/resolution to that of any other camera output. IP cameras can also be more cost-effective as they often cover a much wider range than that of an analogue camera. It would need up to four low-resolution analogue cameras to cover the same recording area as a single IP camera.

HD Resolution Capability
HD refers to high definition or 720p/1080p resolution, 1080p is known as Full HD. This resolution is a significant step up from 480p which can be seen in the image (on the right).
The first figure (1920) refers to horizontal pixels and the second figure (1080) denotes vertical resolution. The simple difference between HD and SD images is the number of pixels contained in the imageÂ

H.264 Video Compression
H.264 is a video compression for digital video recorders to use when reducing video file sizes without losing resolution in the captured footage. H.264 standard compresses the footage so that only half the storage space is used however the same video quality is maintained. Advanced Video Coding (AVC) uses Macroblocks to process information in 16x16px blocks.
E11 Certification Vehicle Approval
The E11 Mark is the British specific Mark that covers equipment/vehicles supplied to the automotive industry. This includes commercial vehicles, construction machinery and general vehicle use and basically means the unit has been approved by ECU compliance and quality control regulations. ()
Timespace PCLink Suite
The PCLink Suite allows users to review footage and blur objects/faces using an inbuilt software tool in the event that footage is used in evidence for courts or policing. The system also offers user-friendly playback and reviewing alongside alarm and motion markers for rapid analysis of footage.
Live view features include multi-camera live video streaming, playback, real-time live map locations of vehicles and watermarking/password protection.
