PV-IP7W – iPhone 7 Power Bank Camera Specification

This is the new LawMate PV-IP7W, a complete recording solution, turning your iPhone into a covert video recording system.

The LawMate IP7W recorder appears to be an external power bank for your iPhone 6 or iPhone 7, it is actually a Wi-Fi enabled complete recording system. Unlike all other covert phone recorders, whilst recording you can pass this to anyone and all they see is a working mobile phone avoiding any suspicion.

The operation of this high definition recorder couldn’t be simpler. Once attached to your phone, it has a single button operation. You can also connect the IP7W DVR, via Wi-Fi, to your iPhone for full operational control.

The camera will capture 1080p HD video at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. A fully charged battery will provide 200 minutes of video and audio, the camera is also supplied with a free 16gb Micro SD card (supports up to a 32gb card).

The camera supports time and date stamping and produces Law Enforcement grade video and audio. The LawMate IP7W is regarded as one of the highest quality integrated covert and DVR camera solutions available. Whether you are a covert camera enthusiast or a professional investigator, this system will allow you to record in any situation whilst maintaining a low risk profile.

HD Resolution Capability

HD refers to high definition or 720p/1080p resolution, 1080p is known as Full HD. This resolution is a significant step up from 480p which can be seen in the image (on the right).

The first figure (1920) refers to horizontal pixels and the second figure (1080) denotes vertical resolution. The simple difference between HD and SD images is the number of pixels contained in the image

H.264 standard compresses the footage so that only half the storage space is used however the same video quality is maintained. Advanced Video Coding (AVC) uses Macroblocks to process information in 16x16px blocks.
